Day 5 - Stung Treng to Banlung

This morning we are on another mini bus heading east from Stung Treng to Banlung.  Apparently there is a lot of cultural experiences to take part in there.  

We are currently sitting on the side of the road waiting for something or someone.

So far the road is quite good. Time will tell if it turns into potholes and dirt.  Generally though the roads have not been bad considering the amount of rain and traffic.

After 3 hours in the mini bus (@$6US/person) we were dropped off at Tree Top accommodation.  It is a great surprise.  Bungalows are perched over the ravine and are connected by timber walk ways.  

 

From the little bit we saw on the way through town, Banlung itself is a large town with wide dirt roads.
